Animation Degree Show 2026

I am one of the coordinators of the 2026 Animation Degree Show at UWE which involves:

Coordinating 5-day event and methods to fundraise for it
Creating and marketing specialised merchandise
Tracking current budget and fundraising goals
Communicating with team and delegating jobs
Scheduling regular progress meetings to ensure deadlines are met

I did a textile print workshop with Jodie and Robyn (two fellow degree show coordinators) to help make merchandise and auction items for fundraising. We printed tote bags and T-shirts with our mascot.

I've been helping to organise and put on events such as a pub quiz, auction and film screenings to help raise money for our degree show.

Some photos from our auction and screening fundraising event. This included an initial screening of the 3rd years work, followed by a raffle and an auction of hand-made one-of-a-kind items. We managed to raise over £700 towards our degree show from this event and it was great to be a part of it.

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos from the week we spent setting up for the degree show. Starting with nothing but an empty, white walls and ending up with a circus themed exhibition of our work and a giant Cedar mascot installation. It was a very long and exhausting week but I am so proud to have been a part of such a successful event and celebration of all the 3rd years hard work.
